Fresh Cheeses! Making Mozzarella, Ricotta, and Burrata

This class is a great foundation for students  who want to begin making cheeses at home. We will guide you through the hands-on process of making Mozzarella, Ricotta, and Burrata from fresh milk. All supplies, materials, and tools will be provided. Students will leave with a pamphlet on cheesemaking, with recipes, sources, and instructions. Each student will take home some of the cheeses we make in class. Light refreshments will be provided.
We are teaching this class in collaboration with Windsor Meyer, founder of Homespun Craft School. Class will be help in the beautiful event space behind Old Salt Market 5027 NE 42nd Ave, Portland, OR 97218
